about

My song Dorothy was inspired by the beauty of the Courtenay River Estuary. I'm partnering with Project Watershed to help "unpave paradise" at KusKusSum. I'm giving 50% from each purchase to support this cause. The song costs $1.50 as a tribute to these lines from Joni Mitchell's song, "Big Yellow Taxi": "They took all the trees, put 'em in a tree museum and they charged people a dollar and a half just to see 'em. Don't it always seem to go, that you don't know what you got till it's gone? They paved paradise and put up a parking lot."
Feel free to pay more for the song to support both KusKusSum and the artist.

lyrics

There's a place made for Dorothy and I think it's for me
Where I sit with the birds and stare out at the sea.
And oh those trees they keep singing to me
of a love that will never let me go.
